Poor mummy...

I thought I would share a little note mummy wrote yesterday about a misadventure that happened to her while she walking Henry. Luckily I wasn't involve as I was at daycare but I did feel sorry for my mum when I heard about it all... I love you Henry, I truly do! '''This is worth reading''' Ian (the usual dog walker) in Toronto, I decided to be nice to Henry this morning and to take him for a long walk. I decide to walk him into a big park even though I know it is spring and parks are very muddy and wet at this time of year, as I know this one has a nice large footpath running all along the middle of the park. I decide to call my friend on my brand new iPhone and have a quick chat while I peacefully walk my dog in this beautiful park. I get to the end of the park/footpath and tell my friend (on the phone) about my dilemma; a big puddle of water (but I mean huge) separates the road from me. However I basically have no choice but to get myself a little wet as my options are go through the puddle or walk in the grass on the side of the footpath which is just as wet but also full of mud... So I decide to get my feet wet and walk through the puddle, I get in the middle when a man, smiling because he sees the situation I’m in, and his poodle make their entrance in the park. The dog/Henry goes crazy because of the poodle and drags me ahead on the side muddy/wet grass; I drop the leash and fall on my side in the water.... I have half of my body cover in water, leaves, mud and god knows what else. The guy (who must feel so shameful now) tries to help me out but laughs like there is no tomorrow and I don’t blame him because seen from the outside it must have been the funniest thing to see ever. I am now completely wet because the water quickly soaked the rest of the dry patches of clothes I had on the not so dry side of my body, including my suede jacket. I am 15 minutes walk from home... This was without any doubt the longest 15 minutes of my life, walking by cars and people looking at me and my big dog feeling sorry for the heavily pregnant woman, as they could probably imagine what had just happen to me... Bye bye iPhone, I have really enjoyed you for 2 weeks.
